RED NOSE DAY EVENT – Friday 13th March

 

WE ARE DOING -  ‘SOMETHING FUNNY FOR MONEY!’

There will be many activities happening at the practice on the day to help raise funds for the charity. They include:

RED NOSE RAFFLE

 

            1st Prize          *Full Treatment Plan (worth over £600)

            2nd Prize         10 Treatment Appointments (worth over £300)

            3rd Prize          Biomeridian Testing

            4th Prize          Himalayan Bath & Table Salt

*This plan will include consultation, 2nd appointment, X-rays (if required), 12 treatment appointments, Re evaluation,

 

Tickets £1 each (ALL proceeds will go to Comic Relief)

 

Draw takes place on Friday 13th March at 5.00pm at Cirencester Chiropractic Centre

 

HALF PRICE APPOINTMENTS

On Red Nose Day only, New Patient Consultations (normally £65) will be HALF price. These appointments will include consultation and examination, report of findings. X-rays (if required) and treatment will be charged at the normal rates. Availability will be limited so pre booking is necessary. Telephone lines for these appointments will be open from Monday 9 March until Friday 13th March.

Please quote RED NOSE DAY when booking appointments.

THE SERIOUS SID CHALLENGE

Can you make our ‘in-house’ celebrity laugh? Come in on the day and tell him a joke!

We make no ‘bones’ about it he has no sense of humour! Are you up to the challenge? Bring in your funniest joke and enter our competition for 50p.

 

Best Joke will be published here on the web site when we announce the total raised for the charity

COMIC RELIEF

Since 1985, Comic Relief has inspired the nation to have a laugh while raising cash to help change lives. Our vision is a just world, free from poverty.

The money you raise gets spent by Comic relief to help poor, vulnerable and    disadvantaged people turn their lives around across Africa, throughout the world’s poorest countries and closer to home here in the UK.

HERE’S HOW OUR MONEY HELPS…..

£5 …could pay for a school uniform for a child living in extreme poverty in Kibera, Africa’s largest urban slum. Children can only attend school if they have a uniform and so the money would be used to break down a barrier to getting kids into education.

 

For a little more…

 

£10… could pay for a young person living with domestic violence at home to talk to a counselor in a safe non-judgmental environment, to help them cope with their traumatic experiences

 

£15…. could pay for two months’ worth of basic provisions which give an orphaned child in South Africa the chance to go to school rather than have to work or walk miles a day to fetch water.

 

£25… could pay for a hot, nutritious lunch for over 600 children living in extreme poverty in Zambia.

 

£30… could pay to take a young carer on an outward bounds activity day, giving them a much-needed break from their caring duties and allowing them to simply be children having fun.

 

£50… could pay for the hire of a minibus with wheelchair access for half a day, to allow a group of isolated older people to enjoy the companionship of an outing together.
